Hand-picked by owner and chief produce nerd Josh Alsberg, the Discovery Box is a collection of local and sustainable produce for adventurous home cooks. Play with varietals and flavors, get to know new farms and new ingredients. The large box includes 12-13 fruits and vegetables, with enough quantity to feed 4-6 people:
- Something green you can eat in a salad
- Something green to cook
- At least two vegetables you can eat out of hand
- Two or three vegetables to cook
- A seasonal allium
- A fruit or two, with a focus on unique varietals
- An herb if it's interesting.
- In the height of summer, you may get more fruits and fresh-eating vegetables. In the early spring and as we head into the harvest, mushrooms and cooking vegetables will be more available.

- Curbside service is available Sunday-Friday (not Saturday, due to farmer's market pickups).
- Please let us know when you order if you want the box brought to your car and your time of preferred pickup (note, orders after 6 pm will not be available next day).
- NOTE: NOTE: If you order from Providore Fine Foods, it may take additional time, as our fulfillment systems are not the same. We defer to Providore's pickup time, so let us know! We'll make sure your box is fresh and ready!
